My Favorite Eyeshadows

· Lifestyle Team
I enjoy adding subtle or bold accents to my eye makeup, depending on my mood.
Even though I own quite a few eyeshadow palettes, there are only a handful I reach for consistently. These three stand out not just for their color stories, but also for their versatility and quality. Each one helps me create a different kind of look without much effort.
1. Tom Ford Pretty Baby
I never thought purple tones would suit my style, but this palette completely changed my mind. The quad includes a soft rosy plum, a light lavender, a copper shade with a beautiful duochrome effect, and a deep brown. What I appreciate most is how flexible it is—you can easily create a wearable look using only the brown and rosy shades, leaving the purple aside if you want something more understated. It’s not the most basic palette, but the formula and blendability make it truly special.
2. Tom Ford Mercurial
This limited-edition palette feels thoughtfully curated, combining elements from two iconic Tom Ford color stories. The shades sit perfectly in the middle—not too intense, yet not overly soft—which makes them ideal for everyday wear. I especially enjoy the red and maroon tones, as they add depth without overpowering the eyes.
3. Dior Poncho 559
This warm neutral palette is the definition of versatility. It includes a balanced mix of finishes: one sparkly shade, several shimmers, and a matte option. If I had to choose just one palette to keep, this would be it. It works beautifully for simple office looks and transitions just as easily into deeper, more dramatic styles. It’s dependable, elegant, and endlessly wearable.
These three palettes cover nearly every eye look I could want—from soft and natural to more defined and expressive. They each offer something unique, yet all share excellent quality and thoughtful color selection. When a palette works this well, it naturally becomes a staple in my routine.
